How You Can Help CARVA Succeed
As CARVA continues its exciting journey within the Automotive Recycling Industry, we have opportunities for Christian businessmen and women to help us reach two goals:
To connect Christians in the industry with each other.
To share Jesus Christ with the Automotive Recycling Industry.
Some ways you can help CARVA are:
Pray for us – Lift this ministry up in prayer. The Bible says, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” (James 5:16 KJV).
Give financially – Make CARVA’s mission possible. CARVA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, financed solely by contributions and governed by an unpaid board of directors. “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Cor. 9:7 ESV).
Our current financial needs include funds for attending industry events, CARVA exhibit booths, and materials/handouts.
Volunteer – Represent CARVA at upcoming industry trade shows and events. “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” (1 Peter 4:10 ESV).
Serve as a Board Member – We are looking for godly Christian men and women to serve on the CARVA Board of Directors. Each member serves a three-year term, with one-third of the board rotating off each year. Board meetings are held quarterly (in person or online), with additional meetings scheduled as needed.
Serve as a CARVA Chaplain – We need chaplains in every region of the country. They will be available to pray at industry events, speak when invited, act as liaisons to local churches, and provide immediate, temporary help for people in crisis—while also connecting them to local pastors for ongoing support.
Executive Director – We are trusting God to provide the right person at the right time for this role. Until then, CARVA’s founder, president, and chaplain, Mike French, is serving as the temporary executive director
